I was privileged to meet and talk with Sandra Garcia last week, her field of expertise revolves around marketing, a very important aspect for almost any business.

Her company “Middlechildmarketing” which started in early 2008 offers public services such as Media Relations, Publicity planning, and E-Marketing strategies. Being a middle child, Sandra gave her company name a catchy “ring” with the notion that being a middle child herself, middlechildmarketing not only needed to “stick out”, but at the same time help businesses stand out and grow as well.

Sandra has been busy since the beginning of this year (2009) coordinating marketing strategies for very large projects such as the Vancouver Short Film Festival and Latidosproductions.com. Her website and blog consists of information rich in marketing news as well as releases.

After more talks with Sandra regarding key aspects of traditional marketing, she also pointed out key factors toward modern digital marketing ideas. Here are her insights.
